Saint-Marie released "Until It's Time For You To Go" 
on her album "Many A Mile" in 1965. The lyrics are said to be
about falling in love with someone you can't be with.

Elvis' version was released on a single in January 1972. 
It reached #40 in the top chart in the US, and #5 in 
the UK chart. Many other artists have covered this romantic song.

I have a rare original RCA Vinyl Single (45 rpm) from Ex-Yugoslavia. It has a green (!) Cover (no picture of Elvis only his name) and in red letters the title of the song is mispelled as UNTIL IT'S TIME FOR TO GO YOU A real collectors item. Funny, on the orange RCA Label the writing is correct. All the Best Harald
