A twisting rocker song, originally written for the movie Blue Hawaii.

Besides the movie soundtrack, Rocka-a-hula Baby was released 
on the B-side of the hit single Can't Help Falling in Love in 1961.
This song was reissued as a single in 2005 when it climbed to #3 on UK Singles Chart.

You can find it today on the CD 50 Worldwide Gold Hits: Volume 1
and on the Blue Hawaii soundtrack CD.

Okay, this is a catchy fun song and sold millions and all that. I like it but why this song gets voted for and a shamanistic performance like 'stranger in my home town' from the fabled Memphis sessions in '69 gets ignored is beyond me. This is the real Elvis folks, the bluesman back in Memphis, wild and from the waist down, not the caricature in a Hawaian shirt and toy guitar.

The last 1/3 of each evening show is an Elvis Tribute, featuring his music based on arrangements from his 1970s concerts. And every show is different.
