This is a song about finally finding true love, after searching and 
searching "my whole life through". 

The recording of My Wish Came True was done in 1957. It was
released on the B-side of the single A Big Hunk O' Love 
in 1959, while Elvis was in army.

You can find it on the CD The Other Sides: Worldwide Gold Award Hits, Vol. 2 .

After all these years - sorry - I don't like this song (I knew it was one of Elvis' personal favorites). For my taste is the arrangement too heavy, but to each his own... 1st released as a Single-B Side later on the RCA Album LPM 2075 "50.000.000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong Elvis' Gold Records Vol 2" released Dec. 1959.
