My Way is a song originally written by Paul Anka for
Frank Sinatra, who sang it on the album with the same name.
It actually became Sinatra's 'signature song'.
Over the years, My Way has become a very popular song.
Elvis recorded it in June 1971. RCA released it on a single
in June 1977 and reached #22 on the billboard chart (#9 on the UK chart).

I think this is Elvis way to say good bye to his fans. This song tells his life story. That is why his music touches so many people to this day. It is true, he did it his way.

Hello. I was a fan of Elvis Presley back on the 60s, his movies too. As a matter or fact I always had been told that if I was his twin brother cause I resemble him totally, look a like him for so many years. I am from the south to west Texas but all his songs I like them all, especially Are you lonesome tonight and My way and Return to sender, also Love me tender. I am known as elvis nick name.

I think all of his songs are amazing but this is just my favorite.

My mother told me a few years ago that when she passes away that this is the only song that she would liked played. There is some secret closeness she feels to this song and I'm not sure what it is and respect that. When she does pass away I will fulfill that one wish for her.

I love this song, for it means much to me. I once have dreams, but later I found myself in a designed pattern followed by most of people. I'm dismay and upset. This song touches my heart, "and now as tear subside", I am starting my own. Though tough it may be, but it is my way.
