released on a single and made a #1 hit in the US for 7 weeks.
It is one of the 500 songs that shaped Rock and Roll as listed on
Rock and Roll hall of fame.

The chorus goes:

Jailhouse rock is a symbolism of all that is truley Elvis. Creating his career as a top song artist, the national recognition of his insane dancing that was "taboo" to many people, and creating a new rock and roll era.
This song signifies a change in historical music sound, along with point of views that the younger generation of the time does have something to contribute to the music industry.
Naughty as it may have been in it's time, the sensual movement of Elvis along with the 'Bad Boy' image of the song, induced a frenzy in the world of not only music but also govermental censorship. Which Elvis held to a high standard and stood his ground.
Forgeing a better composistion field for more muscicians, subjects and artistic style. Elvis actually opened up an era not thought about before this time.
The song says it all, the smokey eyes say it all, the showmanship of the style withint this highly talented boy told people that it can be this way if we want. And leave it to Elvis, he did it in all grandure and grace.

I loke Jalihouse Rock becouse it's a very,very cool Song! And also becouse John Stamos was singing this Song in Full House,one time,and John is for me the best on this world!
