This song made a #1 hit in 1956 - for one week. It is found 
on the CD 50 Worldwide Gold Hits: Volume 1. 

The song was recorded in April 1956.  The airplane flight to the
recording place had problems with engine so that the plane fell
from the sky various times - and this made Elvis and the band
shook up and 'traumatized' so that all of the recording takes
that day were unsuccessful. The producer Shoeles decided to splice
together parts from two different takes to make a decent releasable

Elvis's range is just incredible on this song, and some of his other songs too. I just don't see how he can can be so high up (for a guy) on this song, then in "Love Me Tender", for example, be so low you can hardly hear it. Elvis rocks!!!!!! (Or he did,anyway:)

24K Gold Music Shows is a large oldies musical revue (126 people) performing primarily in Florida. The shows are filled with lots of choreography, energy, and great fun with oldies, country, and Elvis songs.

The last 1/3 of each evening show is an Elvis Tribute, featuring his music based on arrangements from his 1970s concerts. And every show is different.

24K Gold Music Shows understands there was only one Elvis Presley, so NO ONE in in the band will ever attempt to "impersonate" Elvis or pretend to be him, nor even be as good as Elvis! The show they are doing is a sincere tribute to the King, with NO attempt to mock him.
