I wanted to meet Elvis in 1976. Here in the UK we had a TV program called JIM WILL FIXIT. I wrote a letter asking him if he could fix it so I could meet Elvis in person but with no success. Nobody can sing like Elvis. He had such range on this song (Hurt) in particular, but his gospel was also amazing.

I have always loved Elvis. I love the song Hurt. My friend Ted Patrick of Old Town FL. sings HURT does a great job. I was going to Elvis concert in Portland, ME, back in 1977 but never got to see Elvis as we know what happened. What conects me to Hurt is after taking in a friend with 4 boys in the first week of Feb and 40 below 0, he ended fooling around with my wife of 26 years. I divorced her. The BETRAYAL OF TRUST is devastating. Even after 2.5 years it still HURTS. I talk to Dr. Walker on serios radio all the time and always request HURT. Dave Sloan

A professional Elvis impersonater uses "Hurt" in his act and claims it was voted the number one Elvis song in Las Vegas!!! It is a great song!!!

This song is soooo me right now...
