Elvis Presley Song:
Burning Love (1972)
(Written by Dennis Linde)
"Burning Love" is one of the most popular of Elvis' songs. He
recorded it in February 1972, using for the first time JD Sumner
and The Stamps for background vocals. It was first released on
the single "Burning Love", which climbed to #2 in the US Hot 100 billboard.
It ended up being Elvis' last Top 10 hit in the American Hot 100 or pop charts.
"Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love"

THIS IS REALLY ONE OF ELVIS'S GREATEST ROCK SONGS, ESPECIALLY THE LIVE VERSION. MY MOST FAVORITE IS FROM A LIVE CONCERT MARCH 12, 1976. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TOWN HE WAS IN ON THAT DATE BUT I HEARD THIS AND IT IS THE BEST, MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST QUALITY BUT IF U LISTEN TO THE WHOLE SONG YOU WILL AGREE IT ROCKS.

This song was one of the first Elvis songs I listened to. It's fast, energergetic, I don't know :P

I love this song when Elvis gets to rocking. Toward the end he does his little scream like the back up singer does. So Sexy! and when he plays it on Aloha and gets all fired up at the end! Awesome!

Burning Love, was the first Elvis song I heard, and it was the way he sang that song, his style, his voice, my mind told me what have you been missing, and know I have so many Elvis pictures, concert dvd's, cd's
