Elvis Presley Song:

Amazing Grace (1971)

(Music and lyrics by William J. Gaither; Arranged by Elvis Presley)

The origin of the melody is unknown; it is believed to be of Irish or Scottish origin. The original words are by John Newton, a former slave ship captain. You can find the song on the CD He Touched Me. Elvis' version of "Amazing Grace" omits two verses and adds an additional verse: "Too many ages false and spent I have already hung. This face and flock He saved us by, His endless grace will leave me whole."

My precious grandmother who has passed loved hearing Elvis sing Amazing Grace.

I really admire this song! You can be sure I will tell my children all about the King!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My brother was 10 years older than I. He loved Elvis and as a teen, dressed and sang his songs for fun. My brother was very handsome and his kindness was unmatched. We played this song at his funeral. He is greatly missed by all those who loved him dearly as is the King.

Lilly
My daughter's name is Presley Grace. Unfortunately her father passed away before she was born. He died in April 2003, she was born in October 2003. We had already decided Presley would be the name of our child as he loved Elvis Presley as a person with great morales(also a great singer, the "King":) ). I gave her the middle name Grace because it is by the Grace of God that I have her.

If I Can Dream by 24K Gold Music Shows       More videos

24K Gold Music Shows is a large oldies musical revue (126 people) performing primarily in Florida. The shows are filled with lots of choreography, energy, and great fun with oldies, country, and Elvis songs.

The last 1/3 of each evening show is an Elvis Tribute, featuring his music based on arrangements from his 1970s concerts. And every show is different.

24K Gold Music Shows understands there was only one Elvis Presley, so NO ONE in in the band will ever attempt to "impersonate" Elvis or pretend to be him, nor even be as good as Elvis! The show they are doing is a sincere tribute to the King, with NO attempt to mock him.

So in 24K Gold Music Shows Elvis tribute show you will be reminded of Elvis through his songs, sung with similar arrangements to those he used in concert, and see some similar costumes to those he wore, just for nostalgia's sake.
